Not by any stretch of the imagination. If you want to set up a professional studio, look elsewhere. But that's not what I was looking for.My wife and I both work from home. My son goes to school from home (no, we're not shut-ins, we do get out and socialize). Sound travels in our house. The first thing I did was put draft stoppers underneath the doors. That helped. I began by adding these panels to my son's bedroom door. I was actually amazed. The combination of the draft stoppers and adding a dozen of these panels onto his door heavily muffled the sound. When he's streaming or doing any of that stuff, the sound can be audible when it gets loud, but not nearly what it was. For him, the ambient noise in the house is muffled so that it's not distracting his school or streaming.I'm so thrilled with these, I'm adding them to the master bedroom door (my wife's desk is in there), and my home office door. To my surprise the panels work, and I cannot hear anything outside. The panels are easy to cut to fit to size. They come in a small package and you must place them water so they can expand. Instead of using a spray adhesive, I used Command Poster Strips.
