Weird shoes, eh, boots, hmm, whatever they are, I like em!
These arrived extremely fast and I wasted no time in putting them on and getting to work. As a grumpy, old, retired goober, I tend to spend all day in my little shop working on any number of projects. From animatronics, to custom home trims and a variety of construction methods, ie, welding wood working, tons of electrical work, blacksmithing and even auto repair, being on a pension simply means you need a decent skill set to keep things moving and functioning. That mouthful being said, I'm no longer working in the field and sadly not hiking mountings or huffing rugged terrain. This doesn't mean I'm not exceptionally busy, in fact, just the opposite. Therein, I need good footwear.I tried wearing Sketchers but they're too soft and after a few months of use I find they become very easy to somewhat lose your footing as they're not very stable. At times, I'd take a step and my foot would somewhat slide sideways out of the Sketchers. Yeah, they're soft and nice to wear, but not stable enough to really work in. Plus when you're welding, they'll absolutely allow spatter to burn easily through.I also tried using a 6 to 8 inch tall leather work boot but taking them on and off when going in and out of the house became a real chore.I saw a plumbing video on YouTube where young plumber was teased about wearing slippers at work but when he described how easy they were to donn and doff when going in and out of houses, it just made perfect sense. So I decided to give these a try and I'm glad I did.The soles are quite wide and the wedge style sole is very soft and comfortable, but not unstable. They're stitched together quite well and after a few days, they're starting to break-in quite nicely. They are very easy to get on and off, which is perfect for many trips in and out of the house and in the shop, they're terrific on concrete and equally great while working in yard.As for welding, the rounded upper means any small bit of MIG spatter will simply roll off, wherein my moc-toe boots would literally capture the molten metal and leave burn marks on the boots. When new the boots are a bit difficult to get on, but a shoe horn takes care of this issue.I wear a US Men's size 13, D-width, and they fit perfectly. The toe box is fairly wide, so plenty of room for thick socks. If I was falling trees or working in a saw mill, I'd opt for taller boots with more ankle supports, but for me, these are absolutely terrific! Not a shoe, not a boot, somewhat of a hybrid creating that really fits the bill!Sadly they're not made in the USA, but with a price of approx. $80.00, I can at least be thankful it's a US based company and some US citizens are having dinner tonight because of this sale.I would absolutely recommend these boots and I'm sure if you have a need similar to myself, they'll be the perfect application.Oh, I noticed with the Sketchers I used to wear, when climbing ladders, my arch would really hurt at the end of the day as the shoes had no shank. The Romeo boots must have a pretty strong shank as they supported my 254 pounds, 6'7" size extremely well when climbing ladders all day.Give em' a try, I think you'll be really surprised at how practical these boots are.

Great shoe! Pull the trigger on them if you want a pair!!!
Bought an 11 and it went on snug but started to break in really nice. Got lots of compliments on the shoes at work. Great color and super comfortable! I waited awhile to buy these and shouldn't have. Highly recommend!!!

My boyfriend wears Romeos for work daily. These shoes are made well and are comfortable. Amazon offers a good price with quick shipping.

Love these Romeos!
I buy these for my husband for work. They work the best and last the longest compared to other boots. The fit is true to size, great value for the money and has a really thick sole so he doesn’t wear them out so fast. We spray extra stuff on them to make them waterproof.

Really solid boot for a very reasonable price
So I wear a men's 10.5/women's 12 when measured and have a fairly narrow foot. This boot fits me great with athletic socks on. They're a little tight, but still alright, when I'm wearing thick wool. The footbed is very thick and comfortable. They are certainly not the most attractive boots I've ever seen, and they aren't as polished looking as they are in the picture, but I wear them to school almost every day and I love them. I have not had any problems with traction, but I have also not tried to do construction in the rain while wearing them. All in all very comfortable low boots that seem extremely sturdy. I will try to report back in a year with how they're holding up.**Just a bit of an update after a couple months of wearing these almost every day. They're holding up fairly well (some of the stitching seems to be loose around the sides) but I wore them in Chicago on icy sidewalks and I got no traction whatsoever. I think if I still lived there (as opposed to Atlanta) I would consider different every day shoes.

Love, love
Love, love, love these shoes! This is my second pair. The first pair lasted eight years and served me well in regular wear, daily wear to the dog-park (in rainy Portland, OR) and trekking half way around the world and throughout the Middle East. By the way, I never had to treat them with water repellent and they kept my feet nice, warm and dry in both wet and dry climates and the original luster of the high quality material comes right back up with regular shoe polish. Low and behold I finally had to replace them because the soles finally wore through after all that time. My only problem was that they are very difficult to find in brick and mortar stores and I generally hate to buy clothes and shoes online because it's always hard to tell exactly how something is going to fit. So my only caveat with these shoes is that the sizes seem to run way, way small. I normally wear an 11 and started there. But I had to return them twice until I finally found that a size 13 fit me well.

Great price and fit good
I ordered these for my 17 year old son. He needed the wide size 11 and these wides fit him comfortably. He said they feel like slippers and they are easy to quickly slide on.

Great Boot
Today started wearing new Georgia Boot. Wore the old Georgia Boot for over two years on my goat farm. I walk an average of 5 miles a day on the farm so over the time I walk in the Georgia Boot about 4200 miles. The reason to start wearing the new boots is the older started allowing some water in. Lot of rain in central Florida. Over the years this is my 3rd pair. Always comfortable.
