I've owned the Samsung SmartThings equipment for a few years now and the only piece of kit that has lasted is the hub! The original sensors by Samsung eat batteries like they're going out of fashion and a few have only lasted a couple of years. I've also had to replace the arrival sensors a few times. I needed to find a good replacement and these are great. Connected in minutes and they promise the batteries will last over a year. Used with Philips Hue lights, for automations, and everything works perfectly. Very much recommended.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work with a Philip hue bridge**
A: The sensor is connectable with SmartThings Hub, Homey, Vera. 
Philips Hue cant integrate the device unfortunately.

**Q: Can multiple motion sensors control the same smart plugs?**
A: If you are using smart things the answer is yes.
Provided you code your automation routines correctly
eg 
if you had 2 motion sensors in a big room you could have a routine
if motion from sensor 1
OR motion from sensor 2 
then turn on smart plug

But for turning off you would need 
if (no motion from sensor 1 AND
   no motion from sensor 2)
then turn off smart plug

**Q: Does this have a light sensor to tell me the lux in a room?**
A: I don't think so. I have mine connected to home assistant via deconz and it gives me motion, temp, battery and tamper attributes. I have an aqara one and a few Philips motion sensors and they do have a lux sensor.

**Q: Why are you charging £10  more for a former Samsung product?**
A: Due the overall shortage of production components and increasing logistic costs the manufacture was forced to higher the price.

I’ve a number of different zigbee motion sensors (used with hubitat) and I find these are the best both in terms of reliability, aesthetics and build quality.

I would have given 5 if the price had been better. £10 more expensive than when owned by Samsung. That said its well built, the magnet ball is really useful for tuning the angles and it integrates well with Alexa as long as you have a compatible hub.
