Great ice cream scoop. No more letting it sit on the counter or hurting your wrist fighting rock hard ice cream. It seems to be made of good quality materials and is well made and should last for years if taken care of. The trick to this scoop has been mentioned in other reviews is the water. We used warm water and it was surprising how easily it cuts into rock hard ice cream and I believe the water helped to keep the scoop from getting stuck inside the mechanism. Great product will probably be buying several more for gifts.

This product works great, is well built and easy to use, giving you perfect portions. The only thing I don’t like is that the handle length, meets the same depth as the scoop, which results in getting ice cream on it, which then gets all over your hand when you squeeze the handle.

This purchase was for good memories. As children, it was always a treat to Go to Thrifty's for ice cream. The marshmallow shaped scoop was the magic. This is a much bigger scoop than back in the day, but the memories remain.

Release handle kind of gets in the way when you scoop and Release the ice cream but I still like it

My child threw my old oxo scoop and it broke. This new scoop is made from sturdy materials and should last for many years. My 11-year-old is able to easily scoop out ice cream which he wasn't able to before. Dip it in some hot water. Push down and then 1/4 turn and pull it up. It was advertised as a square scoop but it is a round scoop. Great product that I would purchase again. It is also easy to clean. I just rinse it off after use.

I am so tired of receiving used items. This item is dirty, crusted, so obviously used. If I wanted used stuff I would go to a Goodwill store or yardsale. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. So gross!
