Expensive but solidly designed with a folding mechanism I hate
Initially I gave it 2 stars because the folding mechanism was defective. The buttons on the folding block worked inconsistently. Sometimes I could not push them in. I spoke to the Micro support and they offered either to send the scooter to them free of charge for repair or send me a folding block. In the end I decided to return it and reorder.I like the design but I think the quality control in their Chinese factory is inconsistent. What I like:It feels solid and stableWide handle barLow deck that contributes to stabilityHand operated disk brakesQuiet ride, no wobbles or rattles.Comfortable ride over uneven surfacesRelatively lightweightWhat I dislike:Smallish deck. Almost no room for the second foot. The folding mechanism. To fold it you need to bend down, keep 2 buttons pressed and fold the scooter. And it's not that straightforward to replace if it develops a problem. IMHO it's overengineered with push buttons, a tiny C-clip, and springs.ExpensiveUpdate. The replacement scooter developed a similar problem. The folding buttons do not work well. Often I can not push the green button to fold the scooter. It is as if it hits a wall. I have to jiggle the button, shake the scooter, open and close the clamp. I tried to tighten, untighten, but nothing helps. It is not acceptable at this price point. You pay a premium price for the Swiss design and expect top qualityUpdate 2. It got a little better with time. I keep oiling the nubs once a month on the folding block, so the buttons work a little better. I still have to give the scooter a shake sometimes to make the buttons work. I think the folding mechanism design is overcomplicated and not user friendly. The really should rethink it. It lacks the simplicity and elegance of some competitors. Because otherwise it is a very solid and reliable scooter.I upgraded the rating to 2.

Too small
Really is micro board. I found it too small. I wear size 10.5m and only enough to put 1 foot on it. Cant ride with a child on it. At this price point, might As well get an electric.
