Warm Comforting Nourishment - Perfect to Send in a Care Package!
I just sent four boxes of this to my mother and aunt and also got myself a box to see if it was as delicious as it looked! I am pleased to say that this is warm comforting nourishment and perfect to send in a care package or to get for yourself to drink any time of the year, but especially in cold weather. This soup is easy to make in the microwave (open a package and add water) and is ready quickly so you don't have to wait too long for the noodles to cook. I just made myself a mug and used a large spoon to eat the soup and it was great! I waited a few minutes after microwaving to let the soup cool down a little. I feel so comforted and cared for like I was drinking soup my grandmother made me. I'm so glad I got this for my mother who is struggling with a cold at the moment and a cough too! The size of the soup is about 6 ounces or about 3/4 cup of liquid and noodles. There are little pieces of chicken here and there and maybe some vegetables like carrots but cut up very small so easy to eat. You get four packets per box which to me is a good value and economical. The taste is very flavorful and not overly salty. I think it is just perfect. I'm going to stock up on some more for the winter! When my husband asks me to make him some soup, I'll make him this! ~The Rebecca Review

Best soup around
Nothing is better medicine than Chicken Soup when you are sick and this product is a homerun! So glad Amazon has this available since none of the grocery stores around my area have the product in stock.

Reminds me of the 70’s on a freezing cold day
Yummy. Too salty but the it’s tasty enough to get away with the sodium content

Quick Soup
Very Quick to make and flavorable. 1 cup (mug) per envelope. Other kinds always make 2 - 3 servings, then have to save it in fridge.

Seems like the same soup to me!
For a dry-packet soup, this has stayed a favorite over years. Sodium content isn't a worry for me. Consistency? That's flexible! As for quality, I just don't discern any downgrading. Maybe the price has fluctuated into unreasonable zones, but the price I paid for this order I consider a great deal. Traveling, especially camping, I find these, as is, a handy quick comfort, or a starter for creative, fun tweaking and adding on.

Price doubled in two days!
I used to have this soup almost every day as a child in the 70s, before the addition of carrots and when the noodles were thinner. The last time I had it, which has been a few years, I thought the taste may have changed a bit over the decades. Although my tastes have changed since I was 8 and I'm not a big "soup person" these days, I thought it would be a good item to have in our emergency tote - you know, what the government tells you to have in case of a natural disaster or something - because the shelf life would be almost forever and all that is needed is hot water, plus it's one serving, not 4 or 6 if you have no electricity to run the refrigerator. At the price, it didn't break the bank and it was just a nice addition to our emergency stash. I'm sure the taste is still ok for that purpose. My problem with this product is that two days after I made my order, I thought it might be a good idea to get a couple extra boxes for my in-laws, but when I pulled up my previous order, the price had gone up from $1.87 a box to $4.67. But yet when I look on the website for one of our local stores, it shows they still carry it for $2.19. That's an increase of what - 150% or so? Are they thinking there's going to be a run on this soup or something now? Anyway, I guess I'll pick it up at my local grocery store for my in-laws. Price check before ordering to see if your local store carries it for half the price. I did order a few more boxes of the cream of chicken version for my in laws since it's still $2.19 a box as of today.
