FLYDIGI Vader 2 Wireless Game Controller, Configurable Multi-Platform Gamepad, Dual Vibration, 6-axis Motion Sensing, DOES NOT SUPPORT IOS 13.4 AND ABOVE (Grey)

This controller is great! I primarily got it because I was sick and tired of buying batteries for my old Xbox 360 gamepad. I think my only complaint is that the software for it kind of sucks, but you can do much worse. Comes with a nice charging cable and a very small dongle that's perfect for conserving space.

Works flawlessly and has a software to to add extra. I configured the macro buttons to potions in elden ring. I can also use move it around to use it instead of my mouse when im lazy.

First, the "grey" controller is bright white. Nowhere near being grey.Second, I updated the controller and dongle and app as instructed to, but the controller will not connect longer than a couple of seconds, then disconnects, then connects, then disconnects, etc etc.When using it wired, there is a noticeable button input delay by roughly 1 second.Lastly, the thumbsticks are all kinds of wrong. The left stick controls the camera even though that's the right sticks job. And the right stick inputs the triggers and humpers. For instance, when I push it acts like I pressed the right trigger. Push it left and it activates the right bumper.Reached out to customer service and they had no idea what I meant and told me to contact them on Facebook, even though I don't use FB. So no help there. But without asking for it, they offered to send me the "Pro" model as a replacement. Awesome right? But they "had" to have my phone number in order to ship it. Well, they sold my number apparently because now I'm getting all kinds of scam calls from bots.I received the "Pro" model in the mail about a week later and everything works except for the thumbsticks. L3/R3 work, but nothing happens when you move the thumbsticks. I reached out to them again and have been ignored since then.

El control funciona de maravilla, se siente súper bien construido, el dongle funciona rozando la perfección, los botones están colocados en lugares muy buenos, los botones de C y Z son una adición maravillosa. El único problema, no siendo para nada menor, es que no tiene compatibilidad con juegos como Apex o Warzone. Me tocó usar un programa para Remapear los botones y que los juegas detectaran el control.

upper triggers work fine but the lower ones never worked

Great controller overall. Works with rewasd and I can map all the buttons to anything. However like most controllers I've tried the buttons don't last long. This time it was the M1 underside button that failed within 3 months. Longer than an Elite V2 B-button but still way to short. Their customer service was great when I had firmware issues that needed a special program/loader to update it in Chinese. However, when I contacted them about the button issue they simply referred me to amazon c.s. Amazon then referred me to them but then issued me a refund as a courtesy for the sellers poor service. Flydigi claims a 1 yr warranty on their website but doesn't seem interested in honoring it or even talking about it. Thank you to Amazon though for the refund.

The media could not be loaded. Works perfect for my PC... wouldn't buy anything else!

This is my second Flydigi controller, and I've been more impressed with this one than the previous one in a number of ways. Largely, this review will compare this one with the Apex 2 (and the Xbox Series controller, which is very similar) and why I prefer this one (with a few reservations that are worth noting).First of all, the form and size of this are nearly identical to the Xbox Series and/or One controllers (Series controller pictured). There's a bit more chunkiness to the body of the controller, but in the hands, it doesn't feel all that different. The weight is a bit lighter than the Series controller, and the other pictured Flydigi controller (the Apex 2) is also slightly heavier. It's not much, but I do have a slight preference for a weightier controller. The parts of this controller that sit in your palms are neither texturized (as the Series controller) nor rubberized with texture (as the Apex 2), but the feel of the plastic is nice. It doesn't slip and it feels good, even for prolonged play sessions. Overall, in build quality, this may not be quite as good as the other two pictured, but its features, at least for me, are more desirable than the more expensive Apex 2.So let's get into the features:1. The big one for me that this has that the Apex 2 doesn't is linear triggers. I really like racing games and games like Trials, and a simple button-push trigger is just not conducive to those types of games. Based on that, the big plus of this one is the linear triggers.2. The fact that it doesn't have the draggable wheel that is present on the Apex 2 is a plus for me. I don't really use the wheel on the Apex 2, so not having my buttons move around is preferable. You may feel differently.3. The price of this one is much fairer than the Apex 2. It's $60 as I write this, which is more or less on par with the Series controllers. The Apex 2 is current $95. However, it's worth noting that this controller does not come with the phone clip that's included with the Apex 2. Nor does it include the pretty great quality carry case that comes with the Apex 2. Since I previously got the Apex 2, I'm able to use the phone clip with this controller, but I think it's a big oversight not to include the clip. I'm not sure if it can be purchased separately. I mostly use this for remote play, either from my PS5, Xbox Series X, or my PC, so the phone clip is a great thing for me, and not including it is a bummer.Reservations or caveats:1. The big one is that the phone clip isn't included. The controller is built to allow the clip to connect, so I don't know why it's not there. It can't cost the company more than a buck or two to include this additional highly functional piece of plastic. So, if you need a phone clip, certainly research to see whether you can get it separately before this.2. The button mapping can be a pain, and I've struggled to get the back buttons to map. The instructions and Flydigi app are lackluster at best. It's too bad, because this company is producing pretty premium quality products. They could really reach a wider audience by improving their communication in languages other than Mandarin for everyone who doesn't read/speak that language. I feel that it would be a more than worthwhile investment for this company to take their business to the next level, because their products truly impress me.Overall, I love this controller. It's definitely one of my go-tos for PC gaming and remote play. It is likely a better option than the more expensive Apex 2 for the linear triggers, but the build quality is a little bit lesser and it doesn't come with a case or clip. Still, it's a great choice if you need a PC controller that serves almost all of the basic functions you're likely hoping for.***I write reviews as a hobby because I love trying out electronics, clothing, household products, kitchen devices, and more.
