Broadcast quality. Very clean audio.

This thing is completely unreliable when it wants to record sound. Half of the videos I take with it are silent. Even worse, the microphone will cause your videos on iPhone to go out of focus constantly. It more trouble than it’s worth. Sound quality improvement is like 10% better.

So disappointed in this microphone. The first use worked great! When I went to use it the second time it was completely broken, ruined hours of my footage. All you can hear was static thanks to this broken microphone. No damaged happened to it just busted after 1 use.

This only works for iOS. If you use an adapter for the jack on your computer it will not work. The only adapter that it works with is the lightning adapter. It begs the question, why even have an adapter at all? Why not just a lightning cable?

Out of the box it looked good. Was really excited I got it for such a deal. Then I plugged it in and did a test with video. Couldn’t hear anything. Then I put the microphone basically in my mouth. Sounded like I was whispering with my iphone speakers at max volume.I then tried it in the sound recorder app. Same thing.Took the windscreen off. Same thing on both apps.Plugged it into my other lightning device. Same issues.Very disappointing.
