Beautiful, Quality Curtains
The quality of the fabric on these curtains is better than I expected. They're thick, soft, with a very fine weave and a nice drape. These curtains would be beautiful for most home applications. They don't scream "over the top luxury" but they do whisper "pragmatic prosperity," which is often better, because who wants floor to ceiling opulent drapery in EVERY room? Because of the tight and fine weave that looks completely flat unless you really get up close, so they would also pair well with any other window treatments like a scarf or valence for extra "pop." I bought five sets of these for a small home office with lots of single pane windows surrounding the room. It definitely helped keep the room warmer -- I've been turning the heat down (the office has its own thermostat) lower than where I normally set it, which has been a huge help for my heating bill in Boston this winter! The beige curtains are not "blackout" (although other colors might be) but they completely eliminate any glare or harsh light and make the room quite a bit darker even during full direct sunlight, which is exactly what I was looking for. One word of warning: The curtains are vulnerable to snagging with metal objects. I found this out when I was taking them out of the dryer and they caught on a sharp bit of a metal wire shelf. Most of the snag was able to be rubbed/massaged back into place, and, luckily, it was on the back of the curtain where it won't show (also, a testament to the thickness/quality of the fabric -- you can get a snag on one side that doesn't show on the other side!), so it wasn't a big deal. But you might want to watch out if you're looking for something more industrial/durable.

Great quality and effective
I had bought ECLIPSE Green Miley Panel - 42x63" at the big box store with the red bullseye when I was browsing one day. My son is a light sleeper so I was excited to find a solution. Well those were crap! They were stiff as cardboard, didn't block any light or heat and were hard to open and close. I returned them and bought these instead. These are 1,000 times better. They are a soft, flexible fabric - almost microsuede like, and have attractive grommets along the top that make opening and closing a breeze. They block the light as advertised and the biggest thing is the heat reduction. My son's room is a good 10 degrees cooler! What a relief! He slept till 8:15am this morning!! They are very well made and a great value for the price. They block most of the light, but I imagine if you ordered a dark color they would block it 100%. I highly recommend these!

Good Quality - Just Be Aware The Beige Curtain Won't Totally Black Out Your Room
I've had these drapes in place for about 16 months and find them to be of excellent quality and construction. The grommets are nice and large and the drapes are easily drawn back and forth. I ordered the beige drapes to match my carpet and overall light-painted room. Since I had never owned "blackout drapes" before I assumed they would completely blackout the room. Wrong. As you can see from the photo, they may cut about 50% of the light, but don't count on light colored drapes making your room pitch black at high noon, won't happen. Because I have an increasingly difficult time sleeping during daylight hours, I'm going to order navy or black drapes from this company. I avoided this initially I was afraid of it attracting cat hair and lint, I will report back later on how well it handles this potential problem. UPDATE: I ordered the navy version and I was able to put them behind the beige curtains on the same rod. Now I can get a total blackout of the room but the outer curtains remain beige, the navy curtains are the same size and remain completely hidden. The grommets match exactly, I put a VERY thin film of WD-40 on the rod to make the curtains slide more easily. Of course, this makes the effort more expensive, but I have beige curtains which match my bedroom and totally dark curtains hidden behind them which make the room 100% dark during the daytime. Plus, there's an extra layer of insulation against the wind which blows across this large expanse of windows. Note on the photo: This is a southern exposure but it does not get direct sunlight, the photo is at high noon so this is the maximum brightness the room receives. Forgive the messy bed, I was never much of a maid.

Love, love, love, heavy and classy and perfect
I bought one set then liked it so much I bought two more for my other bedroom and our patio doors. I got the beige and it's beautiful. I love that they are really nice on both sides of the curtain so they look good inside and out. The fabric is thick and very high-quality, they kind of look like the curtains you'd see in an upscale hotel. We get a lot of visitors and people usually notice these and compliment them. One couple who visited us bought some when they got home because they said they got such good sleep in that dark bedroom that blocked the light so well. The beige is MOSTLY light-blocking but you're never going to get 100% light blocking with any beige curtains so go with a darker color if 100% light blocking is what you want. For me, the beige works fine - our condo windows face the parking lot so we used to see light from the headlights when people pulled in but now we can't see any. We get a little light through the top of the curtains during the day and a soft glow behind the curtains but no headlights, etc. MUCH better than what we had before where you could see everything. They are easy to get the wrinkles out - just put a wet washcloth in the dryer with them and be careful removing them because the grommets will be hot. They don't wrinkle up after that.
