Great head lamp. Good quality and strong light beam.

Does what it is supposed to. Fairly basic but better than my ancient hazardous headlamp that started getting dim in just a few hours (it had an incandescent bulb) and moderately priced. I would get it again and I am getting some for coworkers shortly. Notes about this headlamp, not complaints because I would probably buy this again. - It does make the hard hat noticeably heavier but that is because the battery housing is built like a tank (to get the rating I assume) and it has 3 AA batteries. I choose the AA battery model because I can't afford to stop to recharge in the middle of a job and i didn't want to buy two lamps. - the spotlight is still pretty "floodish" and does not project a tight beam but I think that is becasue of the low profile design, it doens't have much room for a lense. - The headband is very tight but I still purchased a few headlamp clips to make sure it doesn't slide off the hardhat.

Second nightstick Dicata that has failed. First water got behind the lens Now this one light intermittently cuts out even with fresh new procell/energizer/rayovac batteries

I like that it has several options for light. Well designed.
