Q: It says it's safely removes, can it cut fabric like a shaver?

Dear M.H. Thank you for your interest in Gleener! As mentioned by the others, the different edges are not blades so they do not cut like a razor. Having said that, it's a good idea to test your selected edge in a non-obvious place, such as on the inside seam of a garment. And although Gleener Fuzz Removers are highly effective for most garments and upholsteries, it is NOT recommended for use on flannel as it wears out the edge surfaces too quickly. Athletic gear, burnout fabrics and ultra-thin or shear t-shirts are also not recommended for Gleener use. Similarly, the Gleener Fuzz Remover should not be used on fabrics that contain embroidery, deliberate textures or very loose weaves. I hope this helps. Q: Would this work on bulky knitted sweaters with spaces in the knitting?

Hi Micah, Thank you for your interest in Gleener! Though Gleener Fuzz Removers are highly effective for most garments and upholstery, it is not recommended for use on fabrics that contain embroidery, deliberate textures or very loose weaves. Having said that, I can't be sure if it would work on your sweater without seeing it first. I would recommend that before Gleening, you test your selected edge in a non-obvious place, such as on the inside seam of a garment. I hope this helps. Q: I have a pair of black fleece pants and can't get all the cat hair out of the fleece. It's embedded in the fabric. Think this will work on that?

For cat hair and washing linty towels (by mistake of course) If you can wash and dry the item, then this is what you do. Buy the bounce dryer sheets for pet hair. After, the bulk of the pet hair is pulled out with the dryer sheets. (Using these drying sheets all the time, really helps a lot!) Use the super sticky lint roller tape. Then any pills in the fabric can be removed with the Gleener! I saved a sweater that a shredded foam pillow tore open in the washer. There was that lint all over the sweater, Inside and out! I used the Gleener and after two hours, my sweater looked like new! It really works if you are not looking for instant gratification. It was worth my time.

Q: is the fabric edges avaliable for sale separately?

Yes, there are two options now on Amazon. One has just the 3 blades. One has the 3 blades plus a pet hair attachment.
