Update: 8/14/2025 It's been over a decade and this is still the ONLY sunscreen I use. One thing I wasn't aware of before was that it is REEF SAFE, and I am all for protecting the environment, so that's an added bonus. I don't even bat an eye at the price. A little goes a long way, and the overall value for what you get is worth it. I bought this because I love the smell of coconut and because I've been trying to find a sunscreen for my face that doesn't leave an oily residue and that doesn't burn my eyes. This sunscreen exceeds my expectations. It goes on smooth and creamy, has a light, pleasant fragrance, does not burn my eyes. I accidentally got some a little too close to my mouth and got a taste of it and was surprised to find that it wasn't disgusting like other sunscreens I might have accidentally "tasted" in the past. My husband was very skeptical about its supposed non-oiliness even after I raved about it, but I got him to give it a try and now he loves it, too! I will defininitely be buying this again. Amazon seems to have the best pricing. Go, Amazon! UPDATE: June 2015 I had completely forgotten that I tried this product. I still don't remember trying this product. And yet, here is my honest review, that is no different than the review I was just about to write about this sunscreen. I was traveling two weeks ago and had not remembered to bring sunscreen. I purchased this sunscreen from a grocery store for like, $22 or something like that. I felt confident trying it since I love using MyChelle's Oil-Free Grapefruit Face Lotion. I am blown away, again. Even if I don't remember trying it before, my thoughts after using it exclusively for an all over sunscreen are -- it's worth the money!!!!! Amazing sunblock protection: I didn't get sunburned. I had no breakouts. No stinging in the eyes, no icky chemical sunscreen smell/taste that we normally associate with applying sunscreen. This sunscreen changes the way I see sunscreen. Does not leave any kind of oily film. I will not buy another sunscreen ever again. The tube is on the smaller side for a sunscreen, but the quality is such that a little goes a long way!

I switched to this sunscreen from the John Masters Organics sunscreen which was wonderful, but leaving my face pretty white. I have super-sensitive dry skin and I am picky about only using natural products. I decided to give this sunscreen a try and I love it even more than the John Masters. My mom tried it and said that it left her face feeling dry and tight, but I use argan oil underneath it and haven't felt any dryness with this product. I have also not felt any stinging sensation which I experience with most sunscreens. This sunscreen definitely feels worth the price in quality and performance. Update: This year I received two tubes of this product that were from the same bad batch. They went on very white and were very difficult to rub in. It was still gentle on my sensitive skin and I had loved this product so much in the past that I kept using it despite the difference. Thankfully I just received a tube from a different batch number and it worked like I previously remembered. Also, I now use the whole line of Mychelle products and my face has never looked better. Despite their inconsistencies I'll be sticking with this brand. Update 2015: I haven't had any problems with consistency for the past couple of years. My review is back up to five stars. This sunscreen continues to be the best natural sunscreen I've tried and I always keep an extra tube in hand. Goes on smooth, hydrates without being oily, and disappears into my skin immediately. Of course, great sun protection that has kept my skin tone fair and even. Mychelle rocks!

Not what I expected. Product is heavy and a bit tacky like most sunscreen products. It’s better than the chemical counterpart but I was hoping for more of a lightweight mist product

I don't think there's a perfect sunscreen out there, but having tried numerous ones, I think this is one of the best. Firstly, it's mineral based so the sunscreen is free of most of the questionable chemicals in other sunscreens. Yes, it contains micronized zinc, but from what I've read, it's still the lesser of many potential evils. Secondly, it provides broad based spectrum protection. UVA/UVB. Very important. Thirdly, it's the only zinc oxide/TiO2 sunscreen I've yet used that doesn't feel like I'm slathering myself in melted vanilla ice cream. It doesn't tint my skin white nor does it become soup when I'm out in the hot sun. Nevertheless, this is not a water resistant sunscreen. If you plan to go out for a run or a swim etc., you will have to reapply it often. If you are sitting on the beach on a 90 degree day, expect to do the same. Fourthly, many sunscreens are loaded with fragrances etc., which can get tedious. This one has a mild smell of coconut--pleasant but not overwhelming. In the end, the sunscreen works. I live in Florida. I have yet to get a sunburn here while wearing this. I try to limit my time in the sun as well. I recommend this product. My only wish is that it had a higher SPF, but I think that's more a function of the limitations of the ingredients than anything else.

I have very, very sensitive skin and this product is great! No rashes, no breaking out, no itching. My skin seems to tolerate it just fine. Also, there's no white layer on the skin which is superb as most other zinc-based sunscreens do leave a white layer on your skin, which makes you look totally silly^^ I wouldn't care so much if I were to just use these sunscreens on the beach or so, but when you want to go out in public, or to work, or just use it as a base for makeup, zinc-based sunscreens weren't very good. Well, with this one, it is possible to go out in public without looking like Snow White haha xD Can also be used under makeup. Great product!

Clear, effective and easy with nice ingredients. A winner.

New HG mineral sunscreen. I'm Fitzpatrick SkinType IV and after an endless quest, this is the first one I've found that doesn't leave a marked whitecast that makes me look like Caspar! Glides on smoothly, non-oily and initial whitecast dissappears after a few minutes. Dries down fast too! Update: recently bought the unscented version. Find that its slightly thicker and prefer the coconut one.

The product i received from BEFLATTERED was 8 months out of date, this means its been sitting around for nearly 3 years.... Have used this product many times from other sellers, its fantastic, just avoid this seller BEFLATTERED

Proteje muy bien la piel del sol. Y si ya esta la piel roja la sana. Lo único malo es que esta muy pequeño el producto. Lástima que ya no hay.
