I grew up being told this was cheap crab, but now, I love this stuff.
* Easier to fry than bacon. * Costs a lot less. * Good flavor. * Love how it's toasty on outside and a little soft on inside. * Once opened, stores well in refrigerator. * Long shelf life. * Hardest part of meal is getting it out of can! But I learned to apply pressure to shorter "ends" and it pops right out.

Great Spam Flavor!
Jalapeno Spam was very good. It tasted spicy, but not to spicy. Heat level is slightly above or at mild in flavor. It is very good alone, in a sandwhich, fried, or cooked in scrabbled eggs! It is very versatile in recipes. The texture was as spam is. And it lasts for years! I recommend trying this!

Bold Heat, Classic Flavor — Surprisingly Addictive
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bold Heat, Classic Flavor — Surprisingly Addictive Spam Jalapeño is a delicious twist on the original that actually brings real flavor and kick. The 12-ounce can is packed tight with the same tender, salty, savory pork goodness you expect, but the addition of jalapeño gives it a zesty, medium heat punch that keeps things interesting. The spice level is noticeable without overwhelming — perfect for anyone who likes a little heat but still wants to taste their food. You get occasional flecks of jalapeño throughout, adding freshness and tang to the richness of the meat. Pan-frying brings out the best in it: crispy edges, juicy center, and the pepper flavor becomes even more aromatic. It’s incredibly versatile too. I’ve used it in breakfast scrambles, sandwiches, rice bowls, tacos, and even grilled it with glazed sauces for a sweet-and-spicy combo that was 🔥. Favorite ways to enjoy it: 🌶️ Crispy Spam slices in spicy fried rice 🌶️ Grilled Spam sandwiches with melted cheese 🌶️ Added to tacos for a salty-spicy protein boost 🌶️ Diced into eggs for a bold breakfast Pros: ✔ Real jalapeño flavor, not artificial ✔ Balanced heat level, great for everyday meals ✔ Crisps and sears beautifully ✔ Pantry-friendly, long shelf life ✔ Fun and flavorful upgrade from the original ✔ Perfect for spicy food lovers who still want the classic Spam taste Cons: • If you’re sensitive to spice, this might push your limit a bit (but you’ll miss out on greatness). If you love the comfort of classic canned meat and enjoy a spicy twist, this is a total pantry win. It delivers flavor, heat, and endless meal possibilities in every can. I’ll definitely keep these stocked for quick, bold meals! 🌶️🥫👏

Too spicy Jalapenos but for me personally it's just too spicy
Spam now comes in lots of flavors so I've been trying some of them. I saw in a Youtube video that you can use Spam as a protein filling for tacos so went for the spicy flavors. For folks who like spicy heat they might like Jalapeno Spam.

Tasty and versatile
It's SPAM which I love. I like salty food. Even tho low sodium, it is still a bit in the salt taste. I love it and stock up for when I need survival food. Versatile in use. While could be eaten straight from can I can't do it. I like using in fried rice; breakfast; musubi; anything the imagination can come up with.

Tastes like Jalapeño, not spicy.
Do you like the great taste of jalapeño with none of the hot stuff? This is what you get. Our cat even liked it. That’s how you know it has no spicy flavor. It’s really good, but it needs hot stuff!
