Rock-Solid Support for the Range or Field
Rock-Solid Support for the Range or Field This CVLIFE 6–9 inch bipod turned out to be one of those pieces of gear that punches well above its price. The adjustable legs snap in and out quickly, and the spring-return design makes it simple to deploy when you’re moving between positions. At the range, the bipod locks down the rifle and keeps shots steady. In the field, it collapses small enough that it doesn’t snag or weigh you down. The included Picatinny adapter is a nice touch, and installation was straightforward. Once mounted, the bipod feels secure without wobble. The 6–9 inch height range works well for both prone shooting and a bench rest, giving plenty of flexibility. What stood out most was how sturdy it feels for something this lightweight. The metal legs have just enough resistance to stay in place without being difficult to adjust, and the feet grip surfaces reliably. If there’s anything to be mindful of, it’s that the swivel is limited compared to more expensive bipods, so adjusting for uneven ground sometimes means repositioning the rifle. Still, at this price point, that’s not a deal breaker. Bottom line: A dependable, budget-friendly bipod that gives excellent stability for range practice or hunting. Great value for shooters who want solid performance without overspending.

great for the price
I have not yet taken it to the range however so far I have to give this 5 stars - I like the detachable mounting system seems strong and does lock in tight - it looks good on my early 90s colt - and the price was great - folds easy, does add a little weight to the front but nothing that would effect most. It is functional and durability will determined by use -

Impressed with the overall package with such an inexpensive price!
Straight out of the box, I'm impressed with the overall feel of this bipod. It doesn't feel cheap, nothing seems to be overlooked, and no corners seem to have been cut. I had this unboxed and mounted to my AR within 5 minutes, but only because I looked at it for the first 3 minutes! I'd love to give this 5 stars, but I've only had my AR propped up on my kitchen table with this bipod so far. I'll update my review once I've taken it to the range and properly used it. The legs have six height positions and are spring loaded. When the release button is pressed (each leg as its own button), the legs shoot out and fully extend. If fully compressed is considered position #1, then when in position #2 or higher, the springs don't assist in extending the legs any more. The springs only assist when the legs are in position #1. BUT, the legs move very freely and will extend open easily with gravity from position #2 up to position #6. This is not a complaint by any means, just letting you all know how the legs work. The springs seem to have great tension to keep the legs sturdy when up or down, but aren't so tight that they are hard to use. I'm not impressed with the little "keyring" that keeps the locking mechanism in place. I can't say that there is anything specifically wrong with it other than it just looks undersized and weak. I'm not sure why the keyring is there other than to keep the locking mechanism from falling into itself. It's hard to explain, but you'll understand once you see it in person. I wouldn't ever attach a sling to this keyring, but it probably will do the job of securing the end of the locking mechanism just fine. This would not be a reason to prevent me from buying this bipod. Like I said, I'm impressed with it so far, but the only action it's seen so far is propping my AR up on the kitchen table. I'll update my review once I have a chance to take it to the range and use it.

Low price, works just fine.
Price is great for those who need something for occasional use on a benchtop. Mine did not come with instructions, so if you are reading this, be sure to read further, and look at the pictures in the product photos for the two pages of instructions. If you know your way around mounts, then this is a straightforward installation. If this is your first time, then the bipod has jaws if your firearm has a mounting point for this bipod. Take a look at the rail adapter for the piece you should look for. If you do not have this mounting point and only have a bare rail, then you can use the included adapter to attach the bipod to the rail adapter. The bipod comes with a 'hose piece' placed between the jaws, and the only way to remove it is to loosen the adjuster on the bottom to allow the jaws to move forward to get the hose off. If you have the bipod adapter, then just get the jaws inbetween the holes and tighten. If not, use the adapter, and then rail mount it. Overall, the bipod works just fine. The feet are spring loaded with a tiny spring and they can be positioned at different heights. There are specific increments for the feet position, so if you are on uneven ground, you may not be level. Couple this with there not being any side to side movement, leads me to believe that it would work really well on a benchtop or other similar flat surface, but not as well in the field. It is certainly better than nothing at all though. My only fear is that the tightening screw (the one to tighten the bipod down to the firearm or the rail adapter) may strip at some point, as the threads seem pretty fine, and that the piece holding it on, I could not tell exactly what it is threading into. See pictures for what I mean. While nothing has happened to mine, I will see over time what happens. I plan on using a bunch of thread locker to make sure everything stays where I have it. The rail adapter is robust, and overall the finish is pretty decent for everything. For the cost though, I am happy with putting it on one of my inexpensive firearms. If anybody has any questions or needs more pictures, be sure to ask!

Great
I’ve went through so many of these trying to find the right one and then I landed on this one and you can’t beat it. The price is great and the build quality is amazing.

This is a great product if you want to get a really accurate shot in without too much fatigue I'm really glad I bought it

Easy to install, provides great stability and I like the ability to adjust from 6 to 9 inches. As long as the sling bolt has a free inch or so before and after it on the stock this will work just fine!

these are going with different names on amazon. I paid couple of pounds more and got a decent one from a gunshop online and is perfect

Used this for a .22 savage. Product fit well and has been working well without any issues for the price point

Good bipod but this time I needed it to attach to a smaller under-barrel picatinny rail. The adaptor did not fit well in this one case. I have had it on other rifles that do not need the adaptor and it's perfectly fine then.
