Indigo Blue 4.8 oz 100% Cotton Denim Chambray Fabric,56 Inches Wide, by The Yard

This is a nice shirt-weight, supple denim in a medium blue wash. The fabric is lightweight enough for blouses, dresses and sunhats; it's more substantial than chambray but not as thick and heavy as jean denim. The color was just as it appeared on my screen, a medium blue denim wash, and the fabric is soft to the touch. It worked perfectly for reversible summer sunhats. not too thick and hot. I would buy again as needed.

This fabric is perfect for my project. It looks like denim but feels like cotton poplin. It’s called denim in the description, but I think technically that’s a description more of weight and weave than appearance, so if you’re looking for actual denim a different heavier weight product might work better.

Doesn't feel quite like denim and one of the cuts is lighter in color than the other two. The fabric is also a bit thin. I don't mind too much tho since it's to practice a pattern.

This is perfect for my project. I sew doll clothes including clothes for 11.5 inch fashion dolls. I needed something light weight that looked like jeans on a doll. This works well for this application.

If you order more than one yard you will receive multiple one yard pieces. I ordered 5 yards to make a dress. A dress would look horrible with seams all over. Very disappointed.

Good quality

I used it in a quilt and when washed it looked all wrinkles around the stitches. Maybe should have washed first. Not sure it is 100% cotton.

This was fine for the purpose I used it for, but I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy duty use as it was fairly lightweight. It cut and sewed up fine for me.

Very thin material, luckily I’m not making a piece of clothing because it’s sooo cheap feeling. Polyester, nota drop of cotton in it!!
