## Description

LogicBlue Technology LevelMatePRO Bluetooth® Vehicle Leveling System : desertcart.ae: Industrial & Scientific

Review: I often set up my trailer alone, but even with someone helping me - this is amazing! I use this in combo with the curved leveling blocks. So much faster and easier than lugging and stacking wood. My only gripe would be with the app - if you turn off your phone screen or switch to another app it has to regain connection. It’s a minor annoyance. The app otherwise works great! And I have zero problems getting a connection from inside my truck.
Review: I think this product works great. I’ve heard people complain about the battery. Life don’t be so cheap. Go by yourself a lithium ion battery to put in it. It does vary if you set it up with your slide outs in versus out, I choose the level of my trailer with a slide outs out and then calibrate this device.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The book says to calibrate with the slideouts deployed. Yet elsewhere it suggests keeping the slideouts in. Are the slideouts supposed to be retract?**
A: Pretty simple process.
Step 1) level the trailer with the slide(s) out just like you normally do.
Step 2) bring the slide(s) in
Step 3) install and calibrate this as level. This will be a bit off true level, however when you put the slide back out, it goes back to the point that it was level (true level) with the slide out

**Q: Are you selling/shipping the 2nd generation with on/off switch? it says that you are shipping but want to be sure i am purchasing the gen2.**
A: I have 1st gen and argued with their support for while about it not having an on/off switch. They made the statement that the average RV only travels once or twice a year. I explained that the folks willing to fork out this kind of money for this single function might be traveling weekly or daily. PUT A SWITCH ON IT!!!! Now, they have agreed with me and others, I suppose. For those with Gen1, I would suggest what I'm going to do...1) Get a 15 cent micro switch and install it on the cover. 2) Get a 3v cell battery (not a button....the larger types you might find in a garage remote or something. With some small wires, tape, whatever you need, wire in the switch and bigger battery. Should run as well if not better than the gen 2 if you have a much higher capacity battery.

**Q: Do you need to purchase The Anderson drove on blocks? Will this work okay with other leveling blocks?**
A: It will work with whatever leveling blocks or jacks you have. It basically shows on a diagram what wheels need to be leveled and by how much. How you accomplish that is up to you.

**Q: Interested but have a 40ft 5th wheel. where to mount for best results? and also a bit worried about bt connection from truck. will it work?**
A: The best way to determine an optimal mounting location that will give you a reliable connection from the driver's seat of your tow vehicle is to test any proposed mounting location. Follow the steps below to find a good mounting location.

1. Install the battery and turn the unit on.
2. Put a piece of double-sided tape on the back of the unit and stick it to a wall where you are considering mounting it.
3. Put your tow vehicle a few feet in front of the normal towing position to create a worse case scenario relative to distance.
4. Test the connection repeatedly from the driver's set of your tow vehicle. Each connection should be tested for at least 1 minute and you need to allow 15 seconds between the time you close the app and the time you reopen it to connect. This delay will allow the phone time to properly hang up the Bluetooth connection.
5. Try multiple locations if necessary. Generally speaking, toward the front, high on the wall or in a cabinet and on the driver's side is a good place to start. You will likely have success from a number of locations so you will have choices.

Before my first solo RV trip, I was very intimidated at the prospect of leveling my RV by myself. Friends had told me that leveling had nearly caused them to get divorced, and so I had investigated hydraulic levelers that cost from $2,500 to nearly $4,000. I decided instead to invest $145 in the LMP to save the cost, added weight, and ongoing maintenance of hydraulic levelers, and I am very glad I did. I just completed my first trip in a 24’ Class C dually RV, and highly recommend the LevelMate Pro (LMP.) I installed the LMP in the center of the RV, near the ceiling above the closet door next to the fridge. This location gives it direct line of sight to the console next to the driver’s seat, where I set my iPhone 12 Max Pro. It is also a location where it will be easy for me to unscrew it and take it down to change the battery when I need to later on. The LMP was well packaged with user friendly instructions. Installation was easy to do, and took less than half an hour. I had downloaded the app before I left on my trip, which expedited the installation process. When I arrive at a campsite, I immediately turn on the LMP and then the app, and use it to find the most level spot at the site. In many cases I don’t need to use levelers. But when I do need levelers, I use the LMP to help me try to find a spot where I only need to level two wheels instead of three, which simplifies the leveling process. The LMP tells me how many inches I need to raise each wheel, which helps me know how to position my levelers. Even as a newby, I found that I could level my RV on the first try instead of having to make multiple attempts. I have had no problems maintaining connectivity with the app. All my campsites so far have had cellular access. I am guessing that if I ever camp where I can’t get a cell signal, it may not work because of how Bluetooth handles location, but I actually don’t know that for a fact. Once the RV is level, I set my parking brake and then shift into park, turn off the LMP unit, turn off the app, and then set my chocks. FWIW, the levelers I use are some combination of legos, 18” 2 x10s, and Beechlane curved levelers. I recently decided to cut up a 1/2” horse stall mat from Tractor Supply into 8” x 18” pieces to use under the curved levelers and as a replacement for the legos, which are starting to break from age and use, but haven’t tried that yet.
