Not just for bulldogs I used this in two situations and it was a great addition to my dogs diet - An underweight pup who had giardia when we got him. He was definitely the runt and had a hard time gaining weight and getting rid of the giardia. Started him on these and he started gaining muscle quickly and made really good gains. His coat filled in much better than expected and now has a great shine and texture. - These work great when my girl does not want to eat during her heat cycle. She will even turn down beef and liver, but loves these. They must taste great. During her cycles she loses weight and fur, but after starting her on these during her cycles, she keeps most of her fur and her weight loss is negligible.

This product saves dogs lives. I've now used it on two different dogs with metabolism problems. It's easy for them to digest and gently prevents muscle loss. One dog had a bad heart causing the metabolic problem. Another came to me with general emaciation and gut problems. This product has dramatically improved their lives.

Update: I started “hiding” the chews in his canned food and he eats them no problem now, he just doesn’t want them alone as “treats”. I raised my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars as they do seem to help his energy and strength level, even though they are not marketed as energy pills, I can see a drop in stability when he stops taking them. He is noticeably more stable on his feet when he’s on them so I will continue to use them. Prior review below. I am using this on an 11 year old mastiff. His rear legs were getting weak and this product seems to help him when I can get him to eat them, they smell like a barbecue sandwich to me which should be pleasing to him but sometimes he will not take them. I actually tried the hard pills as they have no odor but the chews seem to be slightly more effective. The strange thing is they seem more like an energy pill as if he misses two days his legs are noticeably weaker, I wouldn’t expect results to wear off that quick in a muscle building additive. When I can consistently get him to eat these, he does appear to be stronger in his legs compared to when he does not eat them. I just wish it had a flavor and/or smell that he liked because it is difficult to consistently get him to take these.

I’ve been giving my dog these chews for months and he always loved them. He ate them without hesitation and I was happy with the results. Unfortunately, with my most recent order, I immediately noticed the chews looked different – totally different color and texture compared to before. At first, I didn’t think too much of it and tried giving one with his food as usual. To my surprise, he refused to touch his food. I even tried mixing in other treats to entice him, but he still wouldn’t eat. The moment I removed the broken-up Bully Max pieces from his bowl, he went right back to eating his food normally. I also tried offering one whole chew by itself, but he flat-out refused it. After doing some reading, it seems not only has the look and texture changed, but the ingredients have also been downgraded. Very disappointing, since these were once a great product. Sadly, I’ll be throwing this batch away and this will be my last order.

My 15 year old senior dog loves these! If I forget to put one on top of her meals, she refuses to eat anything. I like being able to feed her a couple of these when she’s having a rough day and can’t get up to eat a meal. Just trying to help her maintain strength and muscle
