Could I please have your help? The right earbud is not working

I keep having the same issue. This is my 3rd time trying to order these headphones and each one had a fault. Left ear , right ear, microphone. I would just return them it seems to be a common problem .

How do i know when anc is on?

Just need to tap the left earphone sensor to switch it on There will be a ANC hiss when it is on

Does both the earbud have 8 hours of battery life?

I would assume so as each would need a seperate battery. Also whicherever bud you 1st pick up usually becomes the master while the second one is the slave unit (during that session), thus the master would consume a tiny bit more power. Have had these for quite a while for bluetoothing to my phone to answer calls from the work phone app (not teams) and connect great

How to turn on without case? I can turn off holding but they don't turn on again without putting in case

They reset only when you put them into the case in my experience
