Great Painter - Worth EVERY PENNY!
I wasn't sure if I was buying "too much" of an airless painter, especially since it would be for personal use. Wife wanted the 20 yr old oak kitchen cabinets painted white. Then included the laundry room and pantry as well. Knew about the grain concerns. Tried using my small hand held sprayer at first - not the quality of finish I wanted. Did quite a bit of research, and since I am going to be painting the entire house - inside and out next spring.. arrived at purchasing this Graco X19 sprayer. After a short learning curve, started on the laundry room first... then pantry, then kitchen. Excellent finish. Easy to clean up, even when using oil based primer. Have to say I am excitedly looking forward to painting the house now. This is really a great product! One word of advice - remember that prep work takes the longest time (by far), and is the most important part of a good paint job!

Fantastic sprayer!
There not a lot NOT to like about this sprayer. Super easy to use and clean up. Best of all, it's entirely possible to prime and paint an entire house in a weekend. Much, must faster than rolling, and a much more consistent application and surface finish than is even possible with roller or brush. Easy to setup and prime. Cleaning is straightforward but takes perhaps 30 minutes to do a good job (cleaning pump, filters, gun, nozzle...). My only complaint is that it's *almost* not powerful enough to spray a thick latex out of the can (Behr Marquee, for example). It does the job, but the spray pattern suffers a little. Definitely buy a 0.019 tip (comes out of the box with a 0.015) and maybe thin the paint just a bit. Tips and parts are conveniently available at the orange big box store.

That's a great piece of equipment
Easy to set up and prime, it's very easy to get used to and put out a great paint job. Spend most of my time taping and masking off what I didn't want to be painted then actually painting. It took longer to get used to the 3-foot extension than shooting with the gun as is, but it sure came in handy with 10 ceilings. This worked flawlessly and was a sinch to clean up and put away. Worth the money spent.

Worth every penny
This is the first time I have used a paint sprayer. So far I have used it to paint the interior of a large, wooden, two-story, exposed beam and rafter storage structure. It has been a beast of a job, messy and difficult. I have put about 70 gallons of paint through the sprayer without a single issue. This model has been worth every penny, easy to use and reliable. The instructions are clear and helpful. The manufacturer videos on the Amazon website and YouTube are very useful. The equipment has worked perfectly. It did take me a little while to figure out that Kilz paints need a little thinning (Kilz materials don't warn you) to flow properly. That might be worth a note in the manual unless I missed it. It also took me a minute to recognize and adjust to the pulse nature of the pump during operation. The instructions mention it but it might be worth editing the videos to highlight that. But again, this was my first sprayer. The hose that comes with the sprayer is long enough for anything up to two stories. I clean the .415 nozzle that came with the sprayer carefully after each use, and am still using it. I bought two pole-type extensions for the rafters and ceiling to minimize time spent on a ladder and to reach corner and eave areas. They were also worth every penny. The elevated areas made a respirator, glasses shield, hat, and simple disposable paint suit essential given the inevitable overspray. I have followed the maintenance and preparation instructions carefully except for straining the paint. In addition to Kilz 3, 2, and Restoration for base coats, I used Valspar Deluxe for top coats. I was careful to inspect and thoroughly mix each container and have not had any problems so far. The photos were taken after one coat of Kilz. The ProX19 has been fantastic.

Works for big jobs
I purchased this paint sprayed for several big jobs around the house (painting the inside and outside of two large sheds, priming and painting a large concrete basement that I use for a workshop and studio. I've only used it for latex paint, and clean up of the nozzles, gun, and hose after spraying latex paint is fairly straightforward. Setup of the sprayer for painting (literally priming the pump) is fairly straightforward. The key to longevity is definitely to clean up the hose, nozzles and gun at the end of each use. In use, it's pretty straightforward. You need to stop occasionally to reverse the nozzle to clear clogs. Long term maintenance, beyond cleaning after each use, means filling the hose and pump with winter conditioner and storing the sprayer somewhere where it won't freeze if possible. After several big jobs you'll likely need to replace the nozzle in the spray gun (you'll know). I feel like it's a cost effective tool compared to what you can do (volume and time) compared to what it would cost in labor if you hired someone to do the same paint job. You do use more paint when spraying than if you paint by brush so factor that in. Recommended.

Great equipment
Have nothing bad to say about Graco equipment. I have a small remodeling business and do a lot of painting. Have been using smaller Graco for years that has out worked what it was guaranteed. Plan on this being the last spray rig I buy.
