It hooked right up with no problem whatsoever. Didn't need to download any drivers or anything. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works out-of-box, even in USB-2 port *by B***K on July 26, 2023* This ethernet adaptor worked without needing to install any drivers. The activity led flashed even before powering up my laptop. I read that it supports PXE booting, but I can't figure out how to get that to work. PXE booting from a USB ethernet device isn't an option in my Dell's BIOS. I question the speed. I have Gig-E with CAT-6. The device reports that it's negotiated Gig-G, but the sustained transfer rate is way below Gig rates. This claimed to be USB-3. My laptop has only USB-2. But this worked in those USB-2 ports. I expect it's just going to run slower.
