Smooth, but it will finish quickly if you write a lot
Its very good, unless your writing a whole story I would say its a good ink, its smooth, it can be written sloppily but still it will feel very easy to write without resistance (Depends on the pen condition/type too). I buy this every month since I'm a college student and need to write a lot of things
