These are good quality, and a good investment.

The pliers in this tongue and groove set are solid and appear to be very well made. I compared the 10-inch plier with my old "classic blue" tongue and groove plier. While I didn't take out a micrometer for measurements, in my side-by-side visual comparison, any differences were pretty subtle. Metal thickness, jaw length, adjustability, tool grooves --- everything seemed pretty comparable. I chose the "dipped" handle coating since I was familiar with it on my "old blue" and it has been easy to clean and offers a nice grip. The plier set arrived with some sort of protective lubricant on the polished surfaces -- all nicely done. After wiping that protective coating off, I did run the jaws back-and-forth several times and lubricated the pivot points a bit -- just as a preventative, not that anything was bad. This is a pretty impressive set and should meet most folks' needs for a long time... and at a very attractive price point. If you need 'em, these are good ones.

4/5. Probably great for homeowners, but for commercial/industrial construction it is subpar. Pros- Jaws seem to be high grade, at the same angle and a little wider than the ChannelLock brand. The steel after a week of heavy use is holding up, the teeth are all fine. Cons- the grip slipped/stretched out within a week. The rivet, or swivel point has a threaded end that comes loose and has to be tightened but not too tight or you can't shift between the grooves easily.

Nice variety and appear to be well made.

I ordered these when I couldn't find my Amazon Basics set. Of course once they were delivered I found the 'lost set'. Bummer. I was going to sent these back but they seemed pretty beefy and I used them to help change bathroom/lavatory faucets. Between the Amazon Basics and these, these worked better. I was able to get better access under the sink and I had better grab on the sink locking bolts. Even on the faucet mounting, these worked great as every installation is different, these worked our to be more versatile. The rubber grips seemed a little sticky though, hmm..
