I'm a new artist and this tape has really helped me. It's pretty easy to form it around odd shapes in your painting. I try to remove it before the paint is dry. Sticky and tears easily

I bought this tape for my drawing table and to help mark lines for quilting. I’ve used this to measure and mark lines to make hot pads and pot holders. Works great, sticks to the fabric but doesn’t leave any residue. The size works with these projects but could see getting a thinner tape as well.

UPDATE 10/15/23: I've decided to give it another star, because I've been using it alot for concertina books. It's very thin and acid free (!), so it's perfect for connecting sheets of paper on both sides of the seam. The tape's thinness allows for nice sharp folds. So yup, upgrade to 4 stars now, rather the the original 3 stars I'd given before. Now if it wouldn't rip a sheer surface layer off my cotton watercolor paper (160lbs/300gsm), I'd be buying stock. :) ---------- Original Review: I don't think this is artist quality masking tape -- it's way stickier than blue painter's tape and I think it will likely tear paper to shreds, so I've been afraid to use it as artist's tape. I am using it a lot, though, for various things so it's not going to waste. I am just reluctant to ruin my artwork, but a good bargain as regular masking tape.

My new favorite tape to watercolor with. Stays in place when wet. Doesnt come up.

I watercolor paint multiple days a week. I used cotton paper and pulp paper. I use a heat type gun to dry some paintings faster. I have only had my paper start to rip one time. I definitely recommend and I will buy this again.

Works great for artwork on papers. Take it off and put it back on.

Not bad tape, just bad for watercolor paper unfortunately. Consistently tore up paper no matter what I did, just too sticky

Crap! - rips paper upon removal even with hair dryer! Don’t waste your money!!!!! Will try green frog tape.

very good tape! I hope they never discontinue this becuase it can easily become a favorite forever

Used this in my sketchbook and it ripped my art when I pulled it up. Tried a second time by not pressing it too hard to the paper and it still ripped. Disappointed.
