I just wanted to chime in on an issue I read about: wrinkles and rolls in the mats. I'm not denying these claims, but I think they've been addressed. I have two 2x2 mats from this company. The first came with the board game, Maladum, and it was folded up in the box. There was no issue and the mat sits flat. The second came rolled up in a box that was just over a yard long and had ample space for the mat. So it arrived in perfect shape. So if you want one of these mats, but some of the reviews make you reticent, I wanted to try to sway you to pull the trigger-- they are great mats!

Sits much better on the table than any dry erase mat I've seen. Very satisfied.

Wrinkles in the mat are terribly stubborn. They create a wave effect across the entire mat. I exchanged the first one sent to me thinking it was a fluke. Second one has the same issues. I had also ordered a “snow” version by the same company and it was flat with zero creases. Trying to flatten the current one under books. Tried to iron it but it did nothing. I like the looks of these mats and am pretty disappointed that the ones I have received look like they sat in the bottom of a box for a couple of years. Hoping it will flatten over time.
