This sour cream powder has helped me in a pinch quite a few times! The flavor is delicious, and it is great to have on hand especially if you aren't able to get fresh often like us, as we live very remote and do not have regular access to grocery stores! I just keep it in the freezer and pull it out when I need it for a recipe. It lasts forever that way!

Great addition to the pantry. Nice to have on hand so when you run out of sour cream, you actually have sour cream to use. Not the best to put on a baked potato, but I guess with enough cheese and bacon it would be OK.

Have not tried it yet but when storm or event comes through and you have to use your pantry to live, this keeps food interesting. Too easy to become bored with the mundane preps. A dollup on top of your chili makes you feel happy again. I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 because I have not tried it yet.

Good value for the money. I make my own homemade Hamburger helpers and one of the taco flavored has scour cream sauce that goes over it so I use this for that in mine. Easy to use, good value, long shelf life, has good flavor, blends easy, and is creamy.

I rarely leave negative reviews. I usually just don’t leave one if it is negative. But this time I feel I should because the item is expensive and I want to save someone else from buying this thinking it will taste like sour cream. I really wanted it to be even a little close…I mixed it up exactly as directed. I kept watering it down hoping that would help. All I get is a very odd chalky tasting white substance that doesn’t taste like any sour cream I have ever tasted. I bought it for longer term pantry storage based on a YouTube video where a person highly recommended Judee’s products. But, later in another video she recommended to use a little bit of the product to make sure you like it before you ever need to use it. I took that suggestion but not soon enough to return it. I can’t speak for Judees other products but this one was really disappointing. I will try it for baking but I am not seeing how it will be a usable substitute even in baking. It isn’t even close. 🥲 I’m open to any suggestions to make it usable.

Good product for making my own backpacking meals. I’m pleased with all the products I’ve tried from this company.
