But read this!!! Dozens of pages of the Part 2 are literally the same, e.g. page 309 Part 2 is identical to page 597 of Part 1 and so on. This is something I haven't ever seen. They have just copied pages to make the Part 2 thicker. Insane.

An excellent followup to Part 1
I recommend reading part 1 of Linux Kernel Programming before starting this book. Even if you start off with this book directly, there is a lot to be gained.

Content is fine
Books aren't bad, regarding the content itself. Fairly poorly typeset but whatever. But read this!!! Dozens of pages of the Part 2 are literally the same, e.g. page 309 Part 2 is identical to page 597 of Part 1 and so on. This is something I haven't ever seen. They have just copied pages to make the Part 2 thicker. Insane.

I's pleased to read this book. I find easily instructions that's helped to implemented easily a linux driver. I recommand this book. I continue to read it to learn more things.
