Excellent mini wet grinder! No complaints Makes very fluffy batter. The weight of the stone is definitely better than contemporary machines. Cleaning is always a hassle but worth it. Perfect countertop size. Good value for money. The best part is that it relatively has less plastic in contact with the batter. The stainless steel is good. Lid fits well. Tasty idlis!

Best purchase ever made on Amazon. Sturdy and reliable grinder. It’s been almost a year using it. No more buying idli dosa batter from shop. Make fine paste and easy to clean. Its heavy.

I would have preferred to spend a bit more on a known brand but the lead times were super long and I had cocoa beans almost done fermenting. This solution is decent. One drawback is that the conical rollers are annoying to work with. I realize it’s a good way to increase interaction area in a small vessel but they get stuff caked on them in annoying ways; have your scraper ready until the machine gets hot enough to melt the fats. Additionally, that the cones allegedly keep the thing from heating up and that’s the exact opposite you want for chocolate. I’m sure they’d heat up eventually, but, unless you want to spend hours adding the cocoa nibs (since they cake onto the rollers, make the machine go off-axis, and can even stop it), use a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat up the side of the vessel while it’s spinning while slowly adding nibs. You’ll see the goop gradually turn liquid as it’s initially ground and heated. A pound of nibs takes maybe 20 minutes. It perhaps goes without saying that the hairdryer should be clean… Anyway, I’m on batch 2 so far and, knowing the quirks, it’s working admirably. There’s a chance it’ll crap out in a couple more batches and that’ll compel me to come back and take a 3 stars away. I have heard that the wiring is subpar but I haven’t had a chance to take it apart and see.

Great to have at home to make Dosa or Idli batter.

gREAT FOR DOSA AND IDLY FLOUR

⭐ 1 out of 5 stars – Very Disappointed. Arrived Broken, No Manual, and Poor Quality I was genuinely excited to receive this Ultra Stone Grinder because I bought it mainly to make dosa batter at home. But the moment I opened the box, the excitement turned into disappointment. Parts were broken right out of the box and of poor quality — which clearly means either the product was not handled properly or the quality check was never done. For something this heavy and expensive, I expected at least intact parts. Instead, it felt like I received a returned or damaged unit. On top of that, there was no instruction manual at all. No setup guide, no operating instructions, nothing. For a machine like this, that’s honestly shocking. I had to search online to even understand what goes where. The quality also doesn’t look reassuring. The finish feels cheap, the parts don’t seem sturdy, and overall it doesn’t give confidence that it will last even a few months. I’m honestly very disappointed with this purchase. For the price I paid, this is not the experience I expected. I really hope the seller or Amazon steps in and makes this right — either with a full reimbursement, a free replacement, or some kind of compensation. No customer should receive a product in this condition.

Comes in very cute size. Perfect for making batters.

It is worth the money. I carefully avoided ordering items that were directly shipped from India due to ugly past. So choose items either "shipped or sold by Amazon only". In that case, items come within or by a week time. This mini ultra grinder meets my criteria so far. Hence satisfied with the money that I spent on this. Hopefully it is designed rugged for many years to sustain.

Product looked sturdy and good at the onset.. There is a ring of glue below, around the inside edges and it is peeling. As you can see the photo, the glue scraps are coming off!! These grinders are supposed to be built for long life, not too sure of the sturdiness and authenticity now..
