AMAZING verity of stamps. There were some duplicates, but not many in a pile of 1000 + the whole bunch of stamps on the outside of the envelope. LOVE LOVE LOVE this set.

It is great to get 1000 plus stamps of different countries for kid to start stamp collection hobby. But this bulk buy comes with its own downside which are stamps are duplicate and these are used stamps so some are stuck to other ones due to the glue and some stamps and sealed on top making it impossible to use for collection. Apart from these two downsides rest is great. Some stamps are broken or cut as well but that is hardly 5/10 stamps.

Excellent assortment without duplicates of world wide stamps off paper

I ordered a 500 WW stamps and a 1000 WW stamps. I was happy with the amount of variety countries it offered but also disappointed on how many U.S stamps there was and how many duplications of these stamps as well. I don't know if each duplication was counted towards the amount but overall I was only mildly satisfied. I probably won't buy from them again.

I had purchased a packet of "old" foreign stamps before on Amazon that was just amazing. I collect only stamps from before 1968. My previous purchase was wonderful. I have a fairly extensive stamp collection and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of stamps in the Amazon packet that I didn't already have in my collection. In many cases stamps from the 19th century. I estimate that some 25% of the stamps in the packet that was sent to me were stamps that I didn't already have. I am quite disappointed by this collection. Many of the stamps are from the 1970s and even 1980s. Yes, I understand that I have my own particular standard, and that for many folks 1970s and 80s stamps are "old." So I'm not claiming I was cheated here. I'm just noting how disappointed I am in this collection. I've gone through some 200 stamps of the 1,000 I purchased, and have found just one stamp that I was missing in my collection. One of the big "secrets" of stamp collecting is that many countries print far more stamps than are need by their postal system. They print these stamps solely to be sold to collectors. So many modern stamps are really not stamps that were used in postal systems, but stamps created just for the country "making" the stamps to make money by selling to collectors. They'll often have themes that have nothing whatsoever to do with the country issuing them. They're really created to make a buck and nothing else. As a generalist, I'm not very interested in those types of stamps. But this collection was chock full of them. So, again, not claiming I was cheated, just severely disappointed after having a wonderful experience with Amazon previously.
