I needed to secure my truck's ladder rack. It's made of galvanized steel tubing. Wow, totally impressed - this inexpensive set tapped perfect M threads without a flinch. Screws went in like a breeze. Highly, highly recommended.

Not for steel
They work fine with aluminum or nylon, plastics, etc.Tried them on some mild steel 1/8" thick and snapped the smaller ones immediately.
