Very nice heavyweight orchid planter. Just repotted my small orchid that is getting ready to lose its blooms for this stalk. Perfect time to upgrade to this larger pot. The color is dark mossy grey green and it is nice and heavy. I haven’t found any comparable for the price at any nursery or home improvement store. I purchased like new from amazon warehouse and couldn’t be happier!If you find this review helpful let me know!

I'm pretty sure this is concrete and not terracotta. And if it is, I think concrete contains lime, which is bad for orchids. Also, the holes are large enough for bark to fall through. Not worth the $17. Returned.

I prefer natural looking pots since IMHO, the plant will then be the highlight. I just received this pot and replanted my pot bound Phaleanopsis in it. Right away, I could see it go "ahhhhh"! I came back here to buy a couple more but they're unavailable now. The concept is great as air can circulate around the roots through the holes and roots can grow out of them as well which is a more natural way for an orchid to grow. I also bought Phaleanopsis potting soil and the spray orchid food. My plant is happy!

Slightly smaller than I thought it would be. Still, its very good quality and I am certain will make an excellent home for my orchid.Thank you.

Guess I didn’t know what I was getting. Very light weight material. The one I ordered came in a million pieces.
