I bought this to do a study of the Gospels. It has a side that you can write on. I just finished the last book and it was lovely to use this kind because the print is bigger and the space for notes was awesome

I’m really looking forward to using my new Illustrating Bible for The Gospels to journal as I study. I was inspired by a friend who uses a similar product; we are studying Mark at church, and she mentioned using a journal version of Mark that has one page of scripture and one page for journaling. I was excited to discover this one because it is in NIV (hers is in ESV) and the spiral allows me to lay it flat for reading and journaling. The pages are a nice thickness and I like the larger size, and that it includes all 4 gospels. I am planning to also get the Psalms/Proverbs one, too.Note on shipment: Originally I received a damaged project - the cover and spiral were severely bent - but it was easy to request a replacement, which arrived the next day, and I have a few months to return the damaged copy. I suspect the damage happened during packaging/shipment, and was quite relieved when the replacement arrived in perfect condition.

The media could not be loaded. I love this Bible so much! From the typography to the texture of the pages, it is perfect! I am using it to add my notes so maybe lines would have helped but I understand that most people may be drawing in the margin. Read, reflect, and remember the promise of the Lord!
