I recently installed the DS18 PRO-X698 BM Loudspeakers in my car, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed! The sound quality is fantastic; the mids really shine through, giving a great balance to my music. It doesn't matter if I'm blasting rock, pop, or even some classical tunes—the clarity is spot-on. I got these for my GX470 to replace the front door speakers, it took a good bit of modification to get them into the factory spot but they did fit. This is a really quality speaker but it truly is only a "midrange" speaker, don't expect to get anything more, no lows and a roaring high mid frequency, they need a low pass filter in pretty much any application as the higher freq are rough on the ears. I regret not doing more research on them before buying but they are good speakers, just not right for my application. If you want a nice sounding full range speaker, look elswhere, if you want a high wattage mid-bass/mid-range speaker, these would be great.

It's loud. Sounds good. Priced right.

Installed these in my Lexus, clearer and deeper sound compared to the oem door speakers.
