Completely changes the game!
Most awkward review ever but wanted to be honest and provide as much info as possible. We’ve been doing lots of camping in the desert and I needed a solution. I originally purchased the Freshette, complete honesty I still like it more, but this one has a place. For the price and how small it is, I love it. First, the main points: PROS: - You can pee standing up, anywhere! Priceless - Super compact (folds up easily) - Not hard to use, a little practice makes it even easier - Very easy to rinse out and clean - Worth saying again, complete freedom! - The pink color makes it feel a little less utilitarian - The cloth bag is nice, I might use it in combination with a ziplock or something to keep it compressed - All on piece, no assembly necessary CONS: - Doesn’t hold its shape, hard to use through shorts as things pushing on it can collapse it - You have to hold the front and back edges, not the sides. Just a little harder to do then the Freshette. - Trying to tell my body it was ok to pee while standing took a little getting used to. - Have to work and getting the process down. Learning how to juggle the thing, water to rinse, etc took some trial and error I had previously used the Freshette so the concept of how this all works wasn’t new. Was able to figure it out easily enough, just have to make sure you’re holding it right and not squeezing it too hard. Trying to get my body to pee while standing was probably the hardest part, lol, I still have to think about it every time. It’s long enough that I had no fear about getting anything on my clothes. I did find you needed to tilt forward at the end to make sure everything drained out. Once done is where I struggle more. Trying to keep in one hand not touching anything, wipe (it’s hard to undo years of training), zip up my shorts with the other hand, rinse it off, etc. After a few uses it got easier and I found a rhythm. I also found that having a little bottle of hand sanitizer in my pocket was great! I would highly recommend getting the hang of it first, and then taking it everywhere! Camping, fishing, road trips, public bathrooms, traveling, the uses are endless. Was so easy, no more squatting and trying to avoid things. Well worth all the jokes and laughs we’ve had about this. If your nervous, a hard plastic one was a great place to start. If your up for a challenge or more experienced, this one is great. The price is super affordable and it folds up so small you can take it anywhere. Such a worthwhile purchase to make outdoor activities so much easier.

No drips!
I was anxious to try one of these but it works so well! No spills, no drips, very clean and easy. I can't get it to accordion into itself like the picture shows, but you can just fold it in half to put in the case or make it smaller. This is a really good female urination device. I mostly want to use it for night wees while camping, I get nervous squatting down with the dark woods at my back and my bare bottom close to the ground. Last summer I peed on a bug (or something) and it jumped on me and it was dark and I couldn't see what it was, needless to say....I don't want to do that anymore! Now I don't have to.

Squat Delicately
Us ladies will never have the full convince of men when it comes to peeing, but this is close. Working in the medical field, adapting daily functions is my business, I had to try! For various medical recovery’s I will keep this in mind. Personal use: Great for camping. I like knowing I can keep it in the tent and pee in a bottle with ease, worst case scenario! The positioning is awkward and still involves a delicate squat, not quite dirty toilet low! You still have your bottom exposed when trying to go, but can hide differently in stance pending the surroundings. No shame when using in the dark, find your spot, turn your flash light off quick and go! I use a water bottle and sanitary wipes to clean. Fits nicely in the bag for discreet travels but maybe cumbersome when space is limited. Have not tried in baggy clothing with an opening, like boxer shorts. This was asked by a male. It’s already awkward managing clothing with use, keeping things off the ground while keeping a tight seal. I’m sure it would work for more discreet measures but I’m not switching to men’s underwear! Overall it is functional and serves a purpose!

Great for use w. compression garment
This has been a lifesaver. I am using it post lipo, tummy tuck and bbl. It allows me to stand while going #1. It fits really well in the opening of my compression garment. It’s soft and flexible but sturdy. It cups my entire ‘private area’ so nothing leaks out. After going #1, I rinse the device w water. On myself, I apply aquaphor to avoid diaper rash effects. I do NOT use this for going #2. For bowel movements, my beloved pins my garment back with two ordinary binder clips. This expands the garment opening in the back and keeps it out of the way. I then wipe with xlarge flushable cleansing wipes. Going back to the urination device, it’s also flexible so I can put it in my bag and take it with me when I go for my post op visits. It’s a great device and should be a standard item given to anyone that has to wear a compression garment or that must not sit after surgery.

Portable
Nice hack for women on the go, whether it’s camping, on the road trucking with the hubby or you just don’t like sitting on a public toilet seat.

You still have to pull your pants down to use it
Nicely packaged, soft and flexible, BUT It needs a longer hose end. And I am not sure but I think I need to cut a hole in the bottom my underpants and dungarees to accommodate for the hose extension I am going to put on the end of it, as one cannot wear underpants and use this. I couldn’t even give it a test run without my undies around my knees inside slacks, and slacks almost showing butt and I still couldn’t get the hose end out the zipper part of slacks, which to me defeats the whole purpose of the thing. Experimenting is gonna have to be done and some modifications to something. The whole point of my purchase was to not have to be bare butt squatting on the side of the road. I am 66 years old and I do not like public toilets either. And suspending myself in mid air squatting is impossible. This product is a good idea, but seem to be lacking in some strategic engineering of some sort.

A very versatile product. It is easy to use and comes with a convenient travel pouch. It does exactly what is described in the product details prior to purchasing. I am very pleased with this purchase. I haven't yet used it on long walks and I haven't been travelling anywhere, but I know that it is going to be useful. If wearing jeans, you do have to pull them down a little to make room for the device. You can, however, still exercise a bit of modesty because you don't have to expose your bum or pull down your knickers. You can just push the knickers aside and pee with no spillage or back splash. Well done to Pitch and Trek for their design of this flexible product, the material used and the presentation in a fairly discreet pouch you can place in your backpack or the glove compartment of your car.
