AirNav Micro RadarBox - USB ADS-B Receiver

It's an inexpensive and simple way to get into the ADS-B hobby. The software you download *IS* draggy, but if you disable it from downloading nationwide flights and only monitor what the ADS-B device itself is picking up, it works much faster and easier. People who are claiming it to be junk either are using ancient PC's, or have no understanding of how to operate the device.

The software will not download from their webpage. Once I got it from a 3rd party it freezes constantly and the feed does not show on their network. If you are looking for a plug and play solution to get in this hobby, this isn't it. Spend a few extra dollars and get a better unit.

I loved the low cost of this device. Sure, maybe there are cheaper, no-name devices on eBay, but I felt as though this one had more support being from an actual name brand.This was my gateway and I enjoyed it so much I quickly upgraded to the green stick and 24" antenna from the same company. I currently feed several websites and enjoy the added features (I would otherwise need to pay for) of their websites, which they give me for free.I started out using a Pi Zero W, but upgraded to a Pi 3 A+ for improved performance and it's a rock solid performance package.Give this a try, you'll like it.

Worked great for a hand full of times then started getting error message. Contacted seller almost a week ago and received a response pretty quick. Their recommendation to fix the problem didn't work and I sent them an email (5 days ago) letting them know that the problem still persists. I have yet to hear anything back. I was going to give 1 star, but I really liked the product when it was working.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Product was easy to set up and works as advertised with no problems. Would recomend a better antenna for it tho.

I bought 3 different low-cost SDR devices to use with plane spotting software (flightaware, flightradar etc). This was the more expensive of the three but the only one that was compatible with the software that worked. At the time I bought it, this was the lowest priced unit for this task.

if you sign up for the website radarbox.com you have access to the same data.. not sure what the benefit of this is since you have to have internet access to use the device. for my use case ( i planned on using it for a radar type system for safety when flying drones ) internet isnt always available.
