This was my first henna application and I am so pleased!!! So glad I chose this brand. I chose this one because the ingredients were natural and Ayurvedic. The instructions were clear and helpful. I mixed mine with water, half a can of coconut milk and a splash of apple cider vinegar. I made the whole box even though I only wanted to use half. I only used half of my mixture and froze the other half. After a couple hours of steeping it smelled HORRIBLE so I put a couple of drops of lavender oil in before use. I didn’t expect much color payoff because my hair is dark but I was pleasantly surprised with a really nice reddish tint. It took really well to my fine hairs in the front of my head. My hair feels great and is sooo shiny. I love this henna! Totally recommend this to naturals that can’t use commercial hair dyes

I've been using the Natural Violet and only switched due to the larger Playful Plum package. Big Mistake. Plus, I mixed it with water, let it sit for 3 hours, per instructions then applied it to my hair. Too bad I can't thin it enough to use an applicator. I had to wait longer for it to dry--I have long, thick hair. Now my roots/gray hairs are red, i hate red! I will switch back to Natural Violet.

I've used henna products for years. I stopped some time ago because I was getting too much carrot color over my gray. When I saw Playful Plum, I thought that might be a great option. I got tomato-y carrot color despite following the enclosed instructions (see image). I have written to the company to ask what happened. Will update this when I hear back from them.

I thought it would give my gray hair a purple tint but it didn't.

The product says Plum and has a purple color but the result is ORANGE. I would not recommend this product. The color is not accurate.

I have light grey hair and it turned my hair burnt orange red not able to remove color

To much trouble, messy, did not color hair right, horrible smell, to much work. I love trying new things, but this one was a disaster.

En el instructivo dice que se debe mezclar con agua y el aceite que viene incluidi, pero no viene mas que la henna en polvo. El paquete venía bien cerrado x lo que me hace pensar que es error desde fabrica. Una pena.
