No. My daughter has plenty of Barbie dolls, so that was not an issue.

Yes separate craft glue would work great. It comes with a small tube but I really do recommend getting extra.

My granddaught age 5 loved this and the glue works very vell. I gave it to her for hanukkah and she uses them daily since.
