The Maxxis RELIX (not the Shorty) is a 5 star tire.
The poor ratings this product has received are a result of customers failing to correctly identify what they’re buying. This listing is for the Maxxis Relix, and the Relix is the tire you will get. The Relix is a high end race tire. It’s super lightweight and has a supple, sticky compound as well as Silkworm puncture resistance. It’s everything you’d want from a top-notch race tire. It’s also listed here at an amazing price. If you want the tire pictured, search for “Maxxis Shorty”. If you want the Maxxis Relix, you’ve found it.

Not as advertised, don’t buy!
Not the tire we thought we purchased! Very disappointed. Waste of money unless you like throwing your money away.

Read the description carefully.
The tire that came was nothing like the picture. I needed a knobby tire and was sent a street tire instead.
