Review: I put both on the bow ring of my Tobin inflatable boat. With the 9.9hp motor installed there is 200# to pull. The inflatable has transom launching wheels. These handles seem strong enough to last. They have a good grip. Perfect for a kayak.

**Q: will these fit my viper 10'4"?**
A: Yes, they’re standard size and fit on most kayaks.

**Q: Somebody wrote don't use the screws how do you attach them then?  Why not the use the screws?**
A: The screw holding dosen't last long in plastic... Could not use bolts because no access to put nuts on.  I used the pop rivits amazon sells for attaching the handles and what ever to plastic. Worked well...

**Q: How long are the bolts?**
A: Sorry. I threw them away and forgot how long they were. I only need the handles to replace old ones.

**Q: can i loop this through a hole instead of mounting?**
A: I don't want to screw more holes in the kayak.  However the handles do not hav e a long enough rope to be able to use them on my Pelican kayaks even though they were advertised under Pelican accessories.  I need handles with longer rope.  Can you help?

The handle is sturdy enough and the cord is of good strength. However, make sure that the knots are secure, as the simple overhand knots at the end of the cords looked like could slip, so I retied them, with a little more of the end sticking out. The cord is too short to tie a figure eight at the end, which would otherwise be my preferred method.
