The bottle feels really nice in the hand. The ink is fantastic and is really beautiful in person. I have several pens inked with it.

Bottle is hot! Ink flows, but that depends on your writing tool, and color is vibrant! Do I want the other ink colors? Yes, but I am not that talented to use them.

When I first saw this product, I thought to myself, 'Another Blue'? The last thing we need is another blue! After all, there are about 50 or 60 different liquid blue inks on Amazon already, and that does not count all those that are not listed here. But something about it attracted me. Therefore, despite my hesitance to buy another bottle of blue ink, I did buy this one. When it arrived I let it sit around for a couple of weeks and then I finally opened it up to fill up a new fountain pen that arrived. And before I could even get the pen filled, I was overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of this new liquid ink. Pilot/Iroshizuku created something particularly special.. They took an excellent clean, crisp, bold blue ink and they enhanced it with a "Vivid Purple." The effecct is truly overwhelming. No matter how many different blue inks you have now, this one will make the rest of them obsolete. The color is truly irresistable. Often ink manufacturers say an ink is a mix of certain colors, but when you get it in your pen and start to write with it you think it is just another blue. But NOT with "Asa Gao." There is no mistaking it. The blue is vibrant and the "vivid purple" which they add to the blue base ink makes this product a true necessity for the frequent fountain pen user. Do not wait one day longer. Order this color Pilot/Iroshizuku product today. You will be amazed and delighted at the results.

I love the color. I have several Iroshiruku such as Kon Peki and Shin Kai. To me this is better on paper compared to the other two. I can't stop using it since I added it to my collection of blue inks. I use it primarily on cheap paper and it does not feather. Ink flow has been sufficient without any issues on Pilot 91 MF nib so far.

The only reason that I dropped a star on this item was due to the cap cracking while opening it. The ink itself is wonderful to use and I will be purchasing other colors from this line. The shading of it is very dynamic and will adapt to whatever paper you are using at the time. Due be careful with it though as it has been a very wet ink for me, currently being used in a Lamy Safari with a Medium Nib. The drying time on it has been pretty long so I wouldn't recommend using this in a travel notepad which gets closed soon after writing. The bottle on a whole is beautiful and has a very good heft to it. It's easy to fill and the mouth of the bottle can fit the pen very easily. The clarity of the glass let you gauge how far your pen is in the ink to properly fill without issue. My only main issue with the bottle is that in the time I've had it I have had to cajole the cap off the bottle every time. I've had to place the bottle upside down in warm water several times to loosen any hardened ink to twist the cap. I took to wiping the threads on the bottle and the cap before closing and it still was stuck the next time it was opened. This last time when I attempted to open the bottle it cracked in my hand while it was stuck. I wouldn't want to change the composition of the ink or the way the bottle is designed but the cap should be given a bit more substance to it or have a better method of keeping ink from clotting on the threads.

Awesome ink, flows smoothly on all sorts of paper, beautiful blue

Esta es de una serie de tintas en las que Pilot puso su mejor esfuerzo y conocimientos para hacer de la escritura con pluma fuente algo bello. Sirve para cualquier tipo de pluma fuente, sin embargo si tiene usted pluma fuente Namiki o Pilot, sabrá a que me refiero cuando use estas tintas en sus plumas fuentes y escriba con ellas. Espero las disfrute tanto como yo (tengo 3 únicamente por el momento: Asa Gao , Yama Budo y Syo-Ro), prefiriendo los tonos azules, espero obtener la mayoría de la gama en un futuro próximo, son muy buenas, aunque no muy baratas, Amazon tiene buenos precios para muchas de ellas .

Vivid, saturated, work appropriate blue. Subtle enough to fly under the radar, but exciting enough to keep you interested. Flow is wet and smooth, and the ink seems well lubricated. Worth the price. It isn't as light as Ama iro or out there as Kon peki, just in the sweet spot. If you want a similar colour, but a lighter shade, go for Aji sai. Would feel even better with wet nibs. Not particularly water resistance though.
