I cheaped out and bought this, instead of GiGi beads, from Sally’s. I can’t say it was a waste of money, but I do like the Lavender beads that GiGi makes, better. These worked, but it was very sticky, stringy and they had an odd “old wax” smell. Something I did notice is, rather than removing the hair, it broke a lot of them. I will say, they were painlessly tweezed out, BUT it’s getting harder for this body of mine, to contort, in order to tweeze my bikini area! J/S LOL I probably won’t buy them again, but I won’t let them go to waste. I’ll mix them with my purple GiGi, just to use them up. July 2022 revision: for thick/coarse hair After seeing I was unhappy, this company made things right! They sent me an upgraded formula of the beads I had purchased. And what an amazing upgrade it is! It was no longer sticky and gooey. It pulled cleanly off of my skin, without leaving any weird residue. This upgraded formula got every hair by the roots and didn’t break it off. Not one did I have to do an area a second time! I am impressed! I’ll say, that I am a veteran when it comes to waxing and this product is highly impressive! My routine before waxing is this: I shower and wash/exfoliate the area to be waxed. Then I apply a pre wax sanitizer. Next, I apply cuticle oil. Yes, I use cuticle oil rather than pre wax oil. Cuticle oil seems to create a better barrier and this wax NEVER stuck to my skin, like others have in the past. Needless to say, this new wax never once ripped my skin, in the delicate places I applied it. (Ladies…you know where I’m talking about!) This wax isn’t scented, so there’s no worry about having an issue with perfume or scents that don’t agree with your skin. It melts beautifully. You’ll be impressed! Great value for the money! I WILL buy it again soon!!!

It’s good, I loved the rose smell and If it doesn’t work for you, you’re doing it wrong as a high schooler it’s not that hard to do proper waxing you don’t need to be a professional, but it works it gets all the hair off

I’ve been waxing my armpits for 5+ years and these are the worst wax beads I’ve used. I don’t even write Amazon reviews but I had to write this to deter anyone from buying this. First, it took so long to heat up. I thought the machine was broken because I’ve never had wax take so long. Finally it was heated and I turned the temp down and started waxing. Halfway through my first pit I put the wax on and it burned me so bad. I turned the temp even lower, like basically off, and it felt like it was still getting hotter when I’d put it on. I know my pit is gonna be sore and red tomorrow. I moved on to my second pit and then the consistency turned to this nasty weird glob in the picture, I’ve never seen a wax look like this. I don’t think I even fully finished my second pit because I was just so done with it. As far as removing the hairs, it did an ok job. Had to go over the same spots a couple times.

I’ve used a lot of different types of waxes, I used to wax people for a living, and now I’ve just been testing out different waxes for myself to use on myself. I usually love hard wax, I was trained with hard wax. I was expecting this to be the type of hard wax that you apply it hardens and then you tear it off with no issue. This wax is super tacky and sticky, almost like gum. It is hard to pull off and get a grip especially for the under arms if you’re doing it yourself. In my personal opinion it was more painful than other waxes I have tried and much messier, and stickier. I will use the rest of this bag because I bought it but I definitely won’t be purchasing again I’m sorry. I appreciate trying to give people a budget wax, but the formula definitely needs some tweaking because it’s way too gummy. On the plus side, it DOES remove hair, just takes a couple swipes and a slow pull. Ouch.

I used this wax to remove armpit hair (about a weeks worth of growing, lol). I don’t have a wax melting device so I made a water bath but I did see someone online successfully using the microwave. I put my set up on an oven mitt and silicone mat because I wasn’t sure how messy it would be. Turns out, I didn’t need to worry. There was no mess! The instructions mentioned to test the temp of the wax on my wrist. Once the wax was at the right temp, I used the included applicator to apply a thick layer of the wax with some pressure (per the instructions) and let it sit until it wasn’t sticky to the touch. Then I just peeled back a little piece at the top and ripped it off! It’s not enjoyable, but i wouldn’t really describe it as particularly painful either. I had a few red bumps initially, but when I checked back in an hour, I just had smooth, hairless underarms! If I can get this right in the first try, anyone can be successful with this product. Next, I’m passing this along to my mother, who has trouble with shaving to see if it works for her.
