The quality of this set is apparent from first opening the box. If you have a smaller wood stove, you should really consider this set!

Wow. Simply wow. I was somewhat put off at first by the price, as it seemed a little steep to me. After using these with my Jotul woodstove, all of those thoughts have vanished. A simple, hand-crafted heirloom-quality tool set, these are so well thought out and handy to use that I felt badly for even questioning the price. I use the ash rake and log hook the most and, after using the more common 'poker' of other sets, this one gives me a lot more control manipulating logs inside the small confines of my woodstove. Well made, well thought-out...these are a winner!
