Good material and colour, but a bit short
I was hesitant about buying a nylon shirt, but this is much better nylon than I'm used to. It has a sort of pique texture with a square waffle pattern. It's soft, slightly stretchy and cool against the skin. The tailoring around the chest and arms is good, too: form-fitting but not skin tight like some of Helly Hansen's "technical" wear.The only drawback for me is that it's shorter than other polo shirts I own. If I raise my arms the bottom hem rises above my navel. I was hoping to use the shirt for cycling due to its bright colour and breathability, but its shortness means my lower back is exposed when I'm leaning over the handlebars.

Smart casual active wear
Looks good on, the colour is nice, the for is good, not too "athletic" wicks well. Much nicer than an, admittedly, cheaper wicking t-shirt.

Wearability of Helly Hanson Polo shirts
Whatever you do do not purchase these Polo Shirts. after 6 hours of wearing the material has completely fluffed up on the back. It now looks a mess and can no longer be worn further. I'm trying unsuccessfully to obtain a refund but with no success. the length of the item is also 2 inches shorter than previous Helly Hansen Polo Shirts. AVOID.

Love these tops !
I don't normally leave reviews - but these are worthy, I now have 4, having had 2 for about 8 months. Great fit, cut & style, they look good and keep you cool. Great for everyday wear, walking (mountains & stuff), travelling & so on. However I would echo what others have said - sizing is small. I am 5'10, 34" waist, average build. I gambled on a Medium for 1st purchase - it fits (just), but on the edge of too tight. However Large is perfect, not too tight & not too baggy, and feels very comfortable (apart from the 23 labels that have to be cut out). One word of warning though; those that like to wear collars up - don't ! - you look like a ...
