The brackets rotted and started to push the covers and the seat away from the wall. I ordered a replacement due to the fact that I had holes drilled in the wall. I figured I'd paint the brackets before installing. To my suprize the replacement seat brackets had been replaced with a stainless steel brackets. Much nicer.
