Absolutely amazing
Makes the best hot chocolate ever

Simply the best.
Hot chocolate is a luxury drink and these are luxury flakes. I have never once checked the dates as I get through these pouches with an almost indecent haste. I use the scoop that came with another chocolate product (basically a kilo of choccy dust in a cardboard tube) and that is the equivalent of around six level coffeespoons of flakes - any more and, for me, the taste is negatively affected. Squirty cream is an optional extra. I use my Royal Copenhagen Colour Contrast mugs, the handle-less design and silicone sleeve provides a truly comforting hold: the mugs that came with my Velvetiser were awful and are used to measure bird food.I have arthritic hands so having the Velvetiser to do the hard work was a must. I bought mine direct from HC as it was Black Friday and they offered me a further £20 off, it would have been rude not to avail myself of their kindness. The bags, however, have to come from Amazon simply for the speed of delivery; Amazon usually wins on that front. Right, France v Ireland 6 Nations and a hot chocolate beckon . . . .A month or so later I now buy direct from HC, I set up a subscription and get free delivery plus a better range of choice. It is a little more expensive but they offer what I want.

Good value, a bit slow to arrive, but we'll worth it

The best hot chocolate
70% is the perfect balance of swiftness and bitter chocolate taste in my opinion! You'll never be able to powder chocolate again.

Nice but more bitter than I expected
I’ve finally treated myself to a velvetiser. I wanted to be ready for when it arrived so I ordered these. I mean who could go wrong with hazelnut? It’s nice but I’m not a lover of dark chocolate so this is a little too bitter for me. The solution I’ve found is to add a little Bailey’s.

Makes perfect hot chocolate
Perfect for my velvetiser, makes amazing hot chocolate, and comes in a large volume so lasts a long time. It’s a similar price to the Hotel Chocolat website, but it’s just more convenient to buy on Amazon. The only way it could be better is if there was a wider range of flavours.

Delicious taste, best hot chocolate ever
The salted caramel hotel chocolat hot choc is my favourite of all the available flavours. This 3 pack offer from Amazon is the best value for money. You can get this offer for most of the flavours available, and you can also get it as a regular delivery so you never run out! Best hot choc ever!!
