I always used the old fashioned pipe clamps but now I'll be using these for now on. Work very well and make a good seal.

They are very good clamps and easy to install except you have to find the right size

Normally dont write reviews but this is something ive been chasing for years. Awhile back got an AWE Track exgaust and CTS Turbo downpipe, both came with band style clamps which were absolute ****. Always had leaking issues where the relief cuts were. Tried some exhaust cement and worked for about 4 days then crumbled off. Figured these were cheap enough to try so i went ahead, 2.5" for exhaust, 3" for downpipe section. Pretty easy to remove old clamps even tho they were rusted, use a wire brush to clean the area of rust and cement residue and put the new clamps on (take note of the paper stating orientation). Make sure to line it up so the full metal is over the relief cuts, im dumb and made the mistake of putting the slightly open part over it so slightly leaked. Went back and redid them all and now theyre perfect. Did snap a bolt in the process so word of the wise, dont use a breaker bar to tighten them, 3/4" ratchet should be perfectly fine (what i used after). Since no more leaks from those areas 🙌

They did the job nicely. Look like they are well Made. See if they last as long as the the original ones that’s re 11 years old and actually still I’m good shape

They are nicely built and work well, but they are more suitable for 4” to 4-1/8” lap joints.
