Is this a grounded or ungrounded thermocouple? i bought one similar from somewhere else and it was grounded and wouldn't work with my pid

This ASIN: B07LCYWCB1 is the temperature control meter we use. Our temperature control meter is used with the ASIN: B07W6PFCXF thermocouple.

Is the individual conductor insulation fiberglass or plastic? How much of the thermocouple end can see high temperature?

The insulation is fiberglass. I have the probe in near boiling water for hours at a time without issue.

What material is the cord made of?

Braided wire I don’t know what the actual wires inside made from but the description should be able to tell you.

Is it suitable for potable water systems?
