A product like this takes a lot of abuse and will wear as a result. However, it is an excellent quality set and after using it to take off a well rounded brake caliper bolt, I see no wear to the tool at all. It is well worth the price paid. **Q: Amazon is too ashamed to list where their offerings are manufactured, so I'll ask here. Where are these bolt extractors made?** A: Straight from China. **Q: Does this work for splined lug nuts?** A: It gripped a rounded oil pan bolt with ease I'd give it a ty for the price. **Q: What is the next size up after the largest piece? , i bought one and the biggest one does not fit.** A: It all depends if you bought the S.A.E. or Metric size. You need to be sure that the bolt size head is one or the other. If you get S.A.E. the next size up will be 1" and if you get Metric it will be 21mm. The set I bought is Metric for metric size bolts and nuts, it will NOT FIT S.A.E. sizes and if you try you will round up the bolt/nut.
