I need to use silicone pads, which are very expensive, but because the area is small I am able to cut the pads in quarters and secure the cut sides with this tape. The problem is that because the plastic spool is a solid color, you have no idea whether or not you are going to run out of tape in the next day or two. I ended up doing a re-order just so I wouldn't be left without any. When I finish the first roll, it would be smart of me to measure the depth of the empty portion so that in the future I will have a better idea of how much I still have. Using a transparent spool would solve this issue.
