Ashes Reborn: Rise of The Phoenixborn Master Set – Strategy Card Game for 2-4 Players, Ages 14+ – Includes 6 Phoenixborn, 226 Cards, 40 Dice, Updated Rules (Version 1.5)

I have played this game a handful of times with my friends, and finally decided to buy my own set. Addressing some reviews I have seen:Some say that Ashes is a difficult game to learn. In response Ashes is a relatively easy game to learn, in comparison to Magic and Yu-gi-oh. I would say Ashes is easy to learn, really really hard to master. Also it is significantly cheaper than the other card games I mentioned, there are not $100 chase cards. You can play several games with what is included in this master set, and if you like it you can get expansions for about $15.A few have said the tokens were misprinted. The copy I got in March 2023 has the proper tokens, so it appears the publisher has gotten that issue resolved.

Be aware that this game definitely has a learning curve...and it is a relatively steep one. Nonetheless, once you have gotten over that hump, (as I recently have) you will most likley see just how amazing this game is.For a while now I've been on the hunt for a dueling card game. I've tried a lot of them, but I never really got into one's like Yu-Gi-Oh or Magic, so after a while I gave up. Then one day I stumbled upon this, did a bit of research on it, and made a purchase immediately. I can't guarantee you'll like it, (Mostly because I don't know you) yet still, just give it a try. Why not right?

The only thing I have issue with is the tokens it came with are only the one point value. One side should be the 5 point side but both sides are the one point. I went by their website to get a replacement token sheet but it’s been a couple of months
