This reflective sun shield is very substantial and an exact fit. Took me a minute to learn to fold it up but that is probably just because it is very sturdy, not flimsy. The only drawback for me is that it constantly jostles my rearview mirror getting on and off, just because it is such a tight fit.

It scratched/damaged my interior due to the metal frame. Besides damaging my car, it does fit super snug so not much light gets through, just not worth the damage to the inside of my new car IMO.

I'm not a big reviewer but I've purchased 4 other sunshades that were supposedly made for the CX30. Over time they all didn't hold up over just a few months of daily use. This one wins by a landslide. It's 100% coverage and consistency in shape make it a huge difference to other I’ve tried. The issue with rollup sun shades are that they deform over time, especially if you use them daily. The metal wires in this collapsable one make it incredibly functional as it retains the shape to cover the whole length of the window consistently. The metal wires allow it to extend to the side pillars of the window as well as on top and allow for it to stay in place well even without the use of the sunvisors. I can't recommend this enough. Also, the price is half of the others I've purchased that were made to fit my cx30.
